The Oakland Review
is Carnegie Mellon's art and literary journal.

We publish an annual edition of the best poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, plays for screen and stage, and artwork by CMU undergraduates.

We also maintain a listing of literary events in Pittsburgh and host various events related to publishing.

The 2008 Deadline has been extended to: February 21, 2008 at 11:59pm.

Our 33rd volume of student writing will be released as part of Carnegie Mellon's Pauline B. Adamson Awards, to be held at 8pm on May 2 in Baker Hall 136A. Novelist Russell Banks is the featured speaker.
