From CMU

1. Go East on Forbes towards Squirrel Hill.

You will pass Murray Ave.
Shady is the next street past Murray.

2. Turn LEFT onto Shady Ave.

Among others, you will pass Northumberland and Wilkens
Hastings is the first street past Wilkens.
Note that you must watch for itthere is no left-hand turn.
3. Turn RIGHT onto Hastings

You will pass Dennisten, Beechwood & Fennimore.
636 Hastings is the 2nd house on the left past Fennimore.

From 5th
Going EAST on 5th Ave., turn right onto Shady, left onto Hastings.

From Penn
Going WEST on Penn Ave., turn left onto Linden Ave., right onto Reynolds, left onto Hastings.
Go to the top of the hill.

Other Routes
These are fine, provided that you are familiar with the area, or you have a full tank of gas.

From the CMU Parking Garage, you might want to take Beeler, angle right onto Wilkens, left onto Shady, and a left onto Hastingsactually pretty easy and faster than Forbes.
